Junior Product Designer
At Root7, I worked within a range of different areas of design and business. Working with the senior designer on product development, new products and packaging. Also working closely with the rest of the team to work on brand development, product, social strategy and user conversion rates across the online store and social platforms.

Who are Root7
Root7 is a drinks product company based in Central London, a stone's throw from the Tate Modern. Root7 believes in the ethos of 'Drink Differently', meaning products should enhance your enjoyment of everything you drink. "It should look super cool and perform exceptionally"...
Root7 products cover a range of glassware, barware, reusable bottles and accessories - which are shipped across the world and found in the UK at the likes of John Lewis, Oliver Bonas and Asos.
As a junior designer, I collaborated with the team and senior designer to design new product development for existing and new products set to launch. This entailed building new generations of OneBottle, accessories, new glassware and build a platform for the soon to be released Chameleon bottle. Playing on different user needs, functions and tastes.
Problem and Approach
Us designers were challenged with a few different problems around the in-store interaction with Root7 products and packaging. The lack of visibility and brand recognition meant that consumers were not connecting to the brand. This problem stemmed also into the social platform awareness and web interface. The goal was to refresh the brand identity, strategies and future product development.
Through user research, market analysis and trend forecasting in combination with the company growth needs, we collectively redesigned the company's branding, packaging, social content, web marketplace. Focusing on clarity, easily navigatable, recognisability, fun personality and cohesivness to create a family of products under the same brand.
